Distributed Small Current Grounding Line and Section Selection Device
Applications

Frequent grounding faults in distribution networks not only endanger personal and equipment safety but also severely reduce power supply reliability and may trigger fires in urban areas, towns, rural areas, forests, grasslands, mountainous regions, and power cables. Currently, some existing distribution terminals lack single-phase grounding fault detection functionality. Dongfang Electronics Corporation has developed a single-phase grounding alarm device based on the ΔI_PAM principle (three-phase current sudden variable phase asymmetry principle, requiring only ABC three-phase currents), enabling single-phase grounding function upgrades for existing 10kV distribution network equipment without power interruption.

Functional Features
  • Low Upgrade Cost
No need to add zero-sequence voltage or current transformers; existing terminals require no modification or replacement, protecting original investments.
  • Live-Line Upgrade
Upgrade requires no power outage, with simple construction.
  • Easy Installation
Modular design, compact structure, wide power input range, low-power consumption design.
  • Flexible Output Modes
Alarm signals support local indication, hard contact output, communication transmission, with optional direct tripping.
  • Compatible with Multiple Neutral Grounding Methods
Tested through dynamic simulation experiments, real-type experiments, simulation experiments, and verified by field operation, with grounding line selection accuracy ≥90%. (State Grid Document No. 151 requires a disposal success rate of 75%).
